Community forums, school-focused learning, rights information, documentation practice and organisational development are anchored here. K-HAKI’s approach starts with questions raised in the community rather than a programme designed at a distance.

In December 2025, a regional media engagement examined how journalists can report statelessness accurately and without stigmatising communities. This was a documented learning engagement, not a claim that K-HAKI maintains a permanent Mombasa office.
