Support and referrals

You do not need to know the legal name of the problem.

Start with what happened, what you need now and whether anyone is in immediate danger. K-HAKI can help clarify a question and identify a possible route, but it is not an emergency service and cannot promise an outcome.

If anyone is in immediate danger

Contact Kenya’s emergency services on 999, 112 or 911, or seek help from a trusted local service. Do not wait for an email response.

A useful first message

Share only what is necessary.

Do not send original identity documents, intimate images, passwords or evidence that could put someone at risk. You can begin with a short summary.
